The protection offered by FlexiCancel is not travel insurance, and there is no extra cost to book a home that provides FlexiCancel protection. FlexiCancel terms are more favorable than those offered on most properties on Airbnb and Vrbo. Plus, by booking directly with a local rental company, you'll avoid the extra fees tacked on by Airbnb and Vrbo.

How FlexiCancel Works

• Book months in advance for the best selection of homes and condos
• A modest 25% deposit secures your vacation getaway home
• Make your final payment just 35 days before your trip
• Cancel as late as three days before the start of your trip – for any reason
• Receive a full refund, less a small processing fee (5% of the total amount of your reservation)

All of this is included in the cost of your reservation.

To receive FlexiCancel protection, be sure to select a property that offers FlexiCancel. Review your rental agreement to ensure that you understand all of the terms and conditions as they may vary from property to property. The terms and conditions of the rental agreement for a reservation supersede any other terms displayed.

FlexiCancel policies never apply to reservations of greater than 180 days or for more than $25,000 USD.
