Nestled above Shadow Mountain Lake, amongst the pines, this cozy cabin provides the perfect setting for a dream vacation. This home is a log cabin, but it is not small, dark, or dingy. This cabin has the furnishings and finishes of a high end home. When it comes to furniture, decor, linens, kitchenware, and so much more, the investments made by this property's ownership are evident and numerous. This kitchen is equipped for the chef in your group. With two ovens, a coffee station, a very large fridge, top of the line cutlery, pots and pans, we know guests will be pleased. The home has 3 bedrooms, but 4 sleeping areas. Dispersed among 3 floors, each bedroom has a SmartTV. The primary bedroom suite even has a SmartTV in the bathroom! There is also an open loft overlooking the living room which includes a king sized sleeper sofa, a Twin day bed and a built-in desk, for those who need to put in a few hours of work.. There is a washer and dryer, outdoor dining, multiple decks, a gas grill, a wood burning firepit and views across lakes all the way to the alpine peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park. This home is just far enough away from town to feel secluded, yet only a few minutes drive to Shadow Mountain Lake and about 10 minutes from downtown Grand Lake and the entrance to the National Park.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
– Accessing the Property – From the driveway guests will have one step up to reach the front door on the ground level. Within the home there are two full flights of stairs, one from the ground level to the main level and another from the main level to the loft.
– Parking – Parking for multiple cars is available in the driveway. There is also room for a single trailer. Please reach out prior if you are planning on bringing a trailer so we can make sure it'll fit in the driveway. Parking on the street is prohibited.
– 4 Wheel Drive / All Wheel Drive or vehicles with chains may be required to access this property when traveling during snow and winter weather conditions. The home is up on a hill, off of a private road. Sometimes the plows get to private roads slower than others so guests should be prepared for winter driving conditions. In summer months, when the road is dry, a front wheel 2WD car should have no problem getting you to and from the property.
